Villa La Collina è il luogo dove dal 1957, e per dieci anni,  il primo Cancelliere dalla Germania Konrad Adenauer scelse di trascorrere le sue vacane estive. Fu costruita alla fine del 1800 sul luogo dove anticamente sorgeva una torre fortificata, o castello. E' molto probabile che questo sia il luogo dove Stendhal collocò il castello del duca di Grianta nel suo capolavoro: "La Certosa di Parma" . Singolare, infatti, è l'esperienza di leggere nel giardino di questa villa le pagine descrittive che Stendhal fa di questi luoghi e, alzando gli occhi dal libro, riscontrare con quanta perfezione egli li racconta fornendo quasi fosse un documento fotografico. La Villa ora è sede della Fondazione Accademia K. Adenauer e nella parte di nuova costruzione è un albergo che offre la possibilità di trascorrere vacanze esclusive immersi nella pace e nella straordinaria bellezza della natura in un contesto storico. La Villa è attrezzata per congressi e convegni. La cucina tipica italiana è particolarmente curata come tutti i servizi offerti, dalla piscina al campo di bocce, al parco esclusivo che la circonda.

Villa La Collina is the place where starting from 1957, and for ten years,  Konrad Adenauer, the first German Chancellor  choose to spend his summer holidays. It was built at the end of 1800 on the very spot where in ancient times there was a stronghold tower,  people aknowledged as a castle. It is very likely that this is the place where Stendhal set the Duke of Grianta castle in his masterpiece "The Chartreuse of Parme". As a matter of facts, it is a thrilling  experience to be able to read the pages of that novel in which Sthendhal describes the environment  while sitting in the fore- garden of the villa and, raising the eyes from the book, to see how this description is so accurate to be compared to a photo. Nowadays the Villa is a place of the Konrad Adenauer Foudation and the newly built section is a hotel that gives the opportunity to spend exclusive holidays in a peaceful, romantic and historical spot surrounded by one of the most enchanting environments. The italian style kitchen, together with any other provided services such as the swimming pool, the bocce play-ground and the wide and private park are particularly accurate.
